7.16 General rotary drive
The general rotary drive is the basic and classical form of a drive system. The essential calculations
for this are based on the determination of the mass inertia.
7.16.1 Calculations
For a general rotary drive according to the drawing the following applies:
Dynamic torque

Total torque
The total torque results from the addition of the dynamic and stationary part. The stationary torque
can for instance be a friction torque.
